We are seeking outstanding, motivated post-docs and students with expertise in molecular and cell biology, immunology or related disciplines. Candidates should have good organizational, writing and presentation skills and should be able to work well in a team environment. Extensive experimental work with mice will be required.
Project description: Our lab is studying the role of DNA damage response in regulation of human normal and malignant hematopoietic stem cells. We are interested to identify key molecular regulators and mechanisms that control genome stability in normal blood stem cells and their disruption in hematological malignancies (leukemia). In addition, we try to understand mechanisms of hematopoietic stem cell aging. We combine molecular, cellular and genomics approaches with humanized mouse model to study these questions.
